Why?
In 2021 with a newborn baby, I enquired what activities there were for parents and babies in the village. In short, there wasn’t any. Papworth Stay and Play started in February 2022;
run by the community, for the community.
This non-profit Parent and Baby group is about connecting with local parents and social interaction & development of our little ones after 2 years of little to no contact with anyone outside our households.
As it grows, a hub has been birthed for parents who seek community, friendship and support from other government and independent agencies.
This laid-back group is fun and exciting for all pre-schoolers and parents are free to engage with others in the local area.
Activities for Pre Schoolers
Whether your little one is 1 month or 3 years, we aim to cater a session for everyone who attends and for mums to feel comfortable having conversations with those who live in the community.
Social Events for Parent and Baby
A time for parents in the community to feel valued and spend time with others over a brew and tasty treat!
